Julia’s artistic vision can be attributed to the juxtaposition of her rural roots and a sophisticated urban background. Raised in a small New Hampshire town, Julia migrated north to Montreal. Completing a
Fine Arts Degree at Concordia University, she flourished in the Montreal art scene; staging several successful solo art shows as well as participating in prestigious group exhibitions.
Music and performing have also been important to Julia. For many years she has contributed her unique sense of style to the alternative music scene – singing and songwriting for several bands.
Today, Julia continues to receive success exhibiting throughout North America at prestigious art shows and her bold, minimal oil paintings hang in numerous private and corporate collections. Home is outside Toronto in the Caledon Hills for Julia, her son Adam Roy and their Border collie, Lucky.
