Imaginative. Whimsical. Inspiring. Welcome to the wonderful world of Isa Zapata. Her vivid characters spark the imagination and inspire children and adults of all ages. Her art is filled with characters which are drawn from the people, personalities, and everyday life situations she encounters. The goal of Isa’s artwork is to "create the world we desire, we must become proactive, we must create that world with our actions, words and reactions." Originally from Colombia, Isa cultivated her talent at the Miami Children’s Museum as part of the museum’s Artist in Residence Program.
In the Fall of 2008, Isa was approached by a Canadian publishing company to illustrate the children's book entitled: "Today I Am Happy". With the overwhelming success of the book, she has been asked to participate in the illustration of a new upcoming book.
