Choosing to paint the lighter side of life, Nicole focuses on birds,
creatures of the animal world and of course our favorite stuffed animals.
Texture and color are huge for nicole, but she is also interested in capturing a
" 'moment of simple joy and happiness' within these portraits."
Born and raised by a family of artists in Upstate N.Y., a life of
creativity was encouraged and expected. After studying Art History and
Painting on a full scholarship to Arizona State University, Nicole left for
California, to pursue love. Seven years, and a lifetime later, Nicole
maintains studios in various parts of the country, experiencing and loving
life with her partner, and their plethora of fuzzy friends.
